Baby Dolls

Baby Brianna Outfit & Blankie Item No. 4842 Exclusive crochet doll set every little girl will adore! In this kit you will receive the undressed doll, DK weight yarn and pattern to make the blanket, dress, hat, bloomers & booties. Doll size 15"

The pattern is Baby Brianna from the marymaxim.com catalog.

My two nieces each had a baby girl recently. I made these “babies” for their babies, matching the dresses to sweater sets I’d made in anticipation.

see "Baby Sweaters" for pattern references

My changes:

I used Simply Soft orchid to match the sweaters (obviously!); 1/4″ orchid satin ribbon for the bonnet and the dress; and flat 1/2 buttons.

Bloomers: I added two rows to the length of the “legs”

Booties: no bottom edging; I added three sc rows ( 1 row: 2scTog for toe + 2 rows sc around); I finished with one row [white] *sc + ch 3* in each sc around.

Bonnet:
